HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY LAB TEST RESULTS?

Test results generally take between 24 to 72 business hours after your specimen is collected. Specimens are taken at the beginning and end of the 16 week period.

DESCRIPTION:

The Heart Health Panel gives you a clearer picture of your overall heart health. This panel helps to identify your risk of cardiovascular or heart disease by monitoring any inflammation in your body. This panel also reports your blood counts, electrolytes, kidney and liver functions.

The C‐Reactive Protein (CRP) is a protein that increases during systemic inflammation. This panel tests this level to assess any cardiovascular or heart disease risk.

Homocysteine is a common amino acid (they make up proteins) that you get from eating meat. This panel tests your homocysteine levels and if high, can lead to early development of heart and blood vessel disease.

The VAP (Vertical Auto Profile) not only includes the basic cholesterol tests, but also identifies any cholesterol abnormalities that can be a precursor to heart disease or diabetes
