Did you know?
70-80% of our food supply contains GMO.(Genetically Modified Organism)
What is GMO?
GMOs, or “genetically modified organisms,” are plants or animals created through the gene splicing techniques of biotechnology (also called genetic engineering, or GE). This experimental technology merges DNA from different species, creating unstable combinations of plant, animal, bacterial and viral genes that cannot occur in nature or in traditional crossbreeding.1
Did you know that 1.1 Billion pounds of pesticide is used every year on your food supply?.2
The true toxicity of glyphosate, which is the active ingredient in Monsanto’s broad-spectrum herbicide, Roundup, is becoming increasingly clear. Numerous studies are being published demonstrating just how devastating its effects can be.
According to Dr. Seneff, glyphosate is possibly "the most important factor in the development of multiple chronic diseases and conditions that have become prevalent in Westernized societies,” including but not limited to:
Obesity, allergies, cancer, infertility, depression, autism, ALS, alzheimer's, MS, parkinson's, cardiovascular disease, and gastrointestinal diseases such as colitis and Crohn's.
Did you know there is currently no regulatory limit for the amount of glyphosate on breast milk?3
Here is a fantastic site with the full testing report on the findings of Glyphosate.
Monsanto corporation is single handily turning our food supply into poison. The more you know about these issues with our food supply, the more you can protect your family and their health!
You may think - "I'll just wash my fruits and veggies" -- it's not that simple. It's important to understand that the glyphosate sprayed on conventional and GMO crops actually becomes systemic throughout the plant, so it cannot be washed off. It's inside the plant.
For example, genetically engineered corn has been found to contain 13 ppm(parts per million) of glyphosate, compared to zero in non-GMO corn.4
At 13 ppm, GMO corn contains more than 18 times the “safe” level of glyphosate set by the EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency).
Organ damage in animals has occurred at levels as low as 0.1 ppm. If that’s not reason enough to become an avid label reader and avoid anything with the word CORN in it, such as corn oil or high fructose corn syrup, then I don’t know what is.
Until the USA requires GMO labeling, my best advise to you is this:
You can avoid GMO ingredients by buying the majority of your foods as whole, fresh organic. If you buy processed foods buy 100% USDA certified organic. Meats need to be grass-fed or pastured to make sure the animals were not fed GMO corn or soy feed.
Also, do not confused labels that say "all natural" -- the words all-natural do not meet the same standards as USDA certified organic.
