“I don’t think life is really about the I-could-have-beens.
Life is only about the I-tried-to-do.
I don’t mind the failure but I can’t imagine that I’d forgive myself if I didn’t try.” (Nikki Giovanni)
Motivational Firewood™:
I have always said that I refuse to be an 80-year-old sitting on my front porch, regretting all the things I wished I’d tried in life.
Regret like that sucks, it really does.
As Tim Robbins’ character in ‘Shawshank Redemption’ said: “Get busy living…or get busy dying”. I choose LIVING!
We can't always do *everything* we want.
But there *are* things I want to do while I can.
Sometimes we let our fears keep us from even trying.
Sitting on my front porch with regret for *not* trying will probably be worse than trying and learning something...even failing.
What have YOU been afraid to try?
Will you regret *not* doing it someday?
