In case you missed it, Augusta was exploding this past weekend at The Masters, as Sergio Garcia won his first Major Event (on his 74th attempt).

In one of the sweetest twists, he won The Masters on what would have been the 60th birthday of his hero, golf legend Seve Ballesteros, who passed away several years ago.

Landing in a tie on the 18th hole, Sergio Garcia out-dueled Justin Rose in a one-hole playoff to win the coveted Green Jacket.

Remember, he'd failed to win a major...73 times.

Did he give up? NO.

Despite a career full up ups and downs (with the exception of a brief time away from the game to rebuild) , he just kept trying.
