When I was working to get out of the wheelchair, if I'd compared myself to anyone else I knew at the time I would have gotten discouraged and quit immediately.
I wouldn't have been as able or as capable as the people around me.
But I didn't compare myself to any other person, because they weren't in the same situation as me, because they weren't me.
I compared myself to the only person that should ever matter, me yesterday.
It's the same for anyone else, too.
Don't compare yourself to any other person you know or see, only to the person you were yesterday.
Work to make some sort of changes in your life, big or small, for the better every day.
Don't worry about what or how your friends or neighbors are doing.
They didn't live your life, they're not you right now and they're not currently living your life.
You are the only standard you need to compare yourself to, no one else.
Different character, different book, different chapter in life, no comparison. I love yo faces!!
