Sometimes I find myself judging the present moment based on my wants and desires.
Instead of seeing things for what they are and gleaning the value inherent in every situation, I can become detached and uninterested.
Shouldn’t it be interesting enough that I am already engaged in the task? If I truly did not want this experience, then why would I be experiencing it?

It is easy to dream of interesting scenarios and ideal situations. The “difficult” option is to live life to fullest, moment by moment. This only seems difficult because we are so accustomed to escaping through both our thoughts and actions.
Every experience that we have is a lesson. If we use our energy to judge the experience, we may miss the opportunity to learn. Refrain from judging these moments, instead be thankful for the opportunity and stay open minded.
Life is simple, it is our thoughts make it complicated.
