How many times have you said, I don't have time for myself I'm too busy doing for others?
I bet it's quite often...especially if you have children or are caring for an elderly parent.
There are a million reasons for not saying yes to yourself but you have to remember that YOU are important and deserve time to recharge.
It's not selfish to think this way. It's a necessity!
YOU are the only person who can change it.
You have to give yourself permission to say no to others and yes to yourself.
Say 'yes' to you today! Make some "ME" time - read a book, schedule a day at the spa, spend time in nature on a hike with friends, paint, knit, meditate....
Not sure how to start?
Start with a 5 minute walk outside. Note how you felt before and after.
Did you know?
The study, conducted by researchers at the University of Michigan, found that taking group nature walks is associated
with a whole host of mental health benefits, including decreased depression, improved well-being and mental health, and lower perceived stress.
